Here by myself
On board a double-decker bus
With a clear view
Of the scenery around me
And the lush green trees
Between the roads.
Sitting on the upper deck,
The height gives me
A sense of superiority
The ruler of the road
The ultimate observer
Of other vehicles.

A little smirk forming
As I imagine
The road as mine
The bus as my carriage
The surrounding cars
My mere servants.

A wave of fantasy
Taking over reality
“Bow down to me,
You lowly peasants.”
