About

I’m Gwenice Gwee, a 20-year-old girl living in Singapore.

The name of my blog, “The Chaser of Dreams”, is inspired by a song of the same name, composed by Moises Nieto, also known as HollowRiku on YouTube. (His original compositions are awesome, so check them out!)

I’m not exactly a chaser of dreams. In fact, I don’t have an actual dream or aspiration, though I used to in the past. Perhaps they were previously crushed by the reminders of harsh reality or by my own low self confidence.

This blog holds a collection of poems I have written. I write to express myself and discover my own identity. I’m an amateur, so they aren’t as wonderful as others and may seem immature, but they are a reflection of my true self.

What is life, but a journey of self-discovery?
